Job summary

MGT is seeking a senior independent contractor to design and ship production-grade AI agents that automate real business processes. • Demonstrated experience building AI agents from scratch using Codex and Claude Code.
• Strong command of agent orchestration: multi-agent patterns, tool use, memory and state.
• Hands-on Azure experience deploying services to Azure Container Apps and/or Azure Function Apps.

Responsibilities

• Connect business process to automation and identify AI-automation opportunities.
• Map current-state workflows and redesign for automation beyond digitizing old ways.
• Build agents from scratch with Codex and Claude Code, ensuring maintainable, testable code.
• Ship agentic builds on Azure: Containers and Functions with configuration and secrets.
• Design for the broader ecosystem with multi-agent coordination and integrations.
• Optimize cost and performance, balancing latency and spend across models.
• Make it production-ready with observability, error handling and guardrails.
