Alignment Health is seeking a Senior AI & Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and scaling of AI systems and enterprise automation within the Data & Technology Solutions team. Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience focused on distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record delivering production-grade distributed systems end-to-end.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models or LLMs in production environments.
• Experience in a regulated industry (healthcare, insurance, or financial services) with strong security/compliance knowledge.
• Experience building automation solutions using RPA platforms and workflow orchestration.
• Preferred: Databricks (Delta Lake, MLflow, Unity Catalog) at senior/lead level.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and scale intelligent AI systems and enterprise automation solutions for care quality and operations.
• Lead software engineering efforts across multiple teams, driving end-to-end delivery from concept to production.
• Own CI/CD, containerization, and production readiness; enforce fault-tolerance, monitoring, and security standards.
• Mentor engineers, participate in hiring, and shape engineering culture with responsible AI practices.
