Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain experts designing AI Agent Control. You will drive architectures, consent frameworks, and auth models for scalable agent systems and federated learning environments.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate across AI, Security, Data and Infra, and contribute to IP filings while advancing the company’s hybrid work model and flexible benefits. A strong research and leadership background is essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with multi-agent system administration and modern secrets management.
• Experience with AI native software development tools and code assist.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Typescript) and software languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understanding of AI Native design process and principles.
• Experience with cryptographic methods of identity and auth.
• Experience with IDEs, CI/CD pipelines and code hosting (GitHub/Gitlab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE, AWS and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design control harness intelligence systems for multiagent environments.
• Architect agent identity and authentication for large-scale systems.
• Design post-training and tuning environments for agents.
• Create synthesis models for AI open-source models.
• Implement and test architectures with benchmarking against evals.
• Develop AI Agent control frameworks and governance.
• Drive agent design requirements through AI-native design processes.
• Research emerging agent authorization architectures and frontier models.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infra teams for balanced outcomes.
• Support business development in emerging technology; present at conferences.
