Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain experts in designing and implementing AI Agent Control. You will architect multiagent systems with tool usage, state management, and execution environment control in a fast-paced, globally connected setting.

You will collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to IP filings while delivering scalable AI capabilities across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of software engineering and AI experience.
• Experience with multi-agent system administration and modern secrets management.
• Exposure to AI native software development tools / code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, TypeScript) and software languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understand AI Native design process and principles.
• Experience with cryptographic methods of identity and auth.
• Experience with modern IDEs, CI/CD pipelines, and code hosting (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE, AWS and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design control harness intelligence systems including multiagent systems and tooling.
• Design architectures for agent identity and authentication in large-scale systems.
• Design post-training and tuning/customization environments.
• Design synthesis models for AI open-source models.
• Implement and test architectures, benchmark against evals.
• Design comprehensive AI Agent control frameworks.
• Drive agent design requirements through AI Native processes.
• Research emerging agent authorization architectures and frontier models.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams for practical outcomes.
• Support strategic business development for emerging technology.
• Present at academic conferences and contribute to IP filings.
• Hands-on development of advanced AI capabilities in agentic control.
• Lead a team of experts building universal agentic control harnesses.
