Job summary

Genesys is seeking a Senior AI Architect, Presales in the United States to shape how enterprises apply AI to customer experience. You will lead architecture across self-service, agent assistance, journey management and back-office automation, guiding decisions on LLMs, RAG, and enterprise integrations.

You will partner with sales, services, product, and engineering to move opportunities from discovery to pilots, ensuring scalable, secure and measurable outcomes for customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing and architecting enterprise AI solutions with ML, NLP, and LLMs.
• Ability to make and defend tradeoffs across model selection, latency, cost, governance and risk.
• Deep expertise integrating AI with enterprise platforms, APIs and cloud ecosystems.
• Real-time enterprise solutions with latency, reliability and scalability considerations.
• Experience defining AI evaluation, governance and observability strategies.
• Practical experience with prompt design, context management, and RAG.
• Proficiency with agentic coding and AI-assisted development tools for rapid demos.
• Proven ability to create and deliver technical demos and prototypes for customers.
• Strong collaboration with sales teams on technical discovery and design.

Responsibilities

• Architect production-ready AI systems for UX use cases using LLMs and orchestration.
• Design scalable RAG and enterprise knowledge architectures for accuracy and freshness.
• Establish AI evaluation and observability frameworks linked to outcomes.
• Engineer contextual AI experiences using real-time user data and signals.
• Optimize architectures for scalability, latency, throughput and cost.
• Drive presales engagements with discovery, demos, sandbox trials and guidance.
• Develop and validate AI prototypes with account teams and services.
• Demonstrate Genesys Cloud AI value through architecture patterns and interoperability.
• Create reusable assets and enablement for the field teams.
• Influence product and go-to-market direction from customer feedback.
