Job summary

General Dynamics IT is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to serve as the AI lead across six Task Orders. You will guide AI/ML integration, model selection, and continuous improvement while collaborating with the PMO and Solution Architect on secure, scalable AI capabilities.

The role requires deep AI/ML expertise, systems thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders in a complex program environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience
• US Citizenship required
• Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance currently possessable or obtainable

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an AI/ML strategy for the portfolio
• Architect and guide AI/ML solutions into applications
• Lead AI model selection, deployment, monitoring, and retraining
• Drive MLOps, CI/CD, and modern engineering practices
• Ensure security, auditable, and compliant AI implementations
• Collaborate with TO leads and customer on capabilities adoption
