Job summary

EY seeks an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain architects in designing AI Agent Control. You will drive the architecture for agent identity, authentication, and post-training customization, while advancing synthesis models for open-source AI and benchmarking performance against evaluations.

You will collaborate across AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure to deliver scalable AI solutions in a fast-paced environment, contributing to IP filings and industry conferences.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of software engineering and AI experience.
• Experience with multi-agent system administration and secrets management.
• Proficient with AI native tooling: Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub.
• Familiar with Python, Bash, Typescript, Go, Rust or Java.
• Understand AI Native design processes and principles.
• Experience with cryptographic identity and authentication methods.
• Experience with IDEs, CI/CD, and code hosting (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE, AWS and Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design control harness intelligence systems for multiagent contexts and tooling.
• Architect agent identity and authentication for large-scale systems.
• Design post-training and tuning environments.
• Develop synthesis models for AI open-source models.
• Implement and benchmark architectures against agent and human evals.
• Create comprehensive AI Agent control frameworks.
• Drive agent design requirements via AI Native design process.
• Research emerging authorization architectures and frontier models.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure experts.
• Support strategic business development for emerging tech.
• Present at academic conferences and aid IP development.
• Hands-on development of advanced AI capabilities in agentic control.
• Lead a team building universal agentic control harnesses.
