Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain experts in designing AI Agent Control systems. The role focuses on agent identity, authentication, and post-training environments across large-scale enterprise architectures.

You will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with security and data teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will work on implementing universal agent control harnesses, experimenting with new open-source

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in EE, CS or Math.
• 10+ years of software engineering and AI experience.
• Experience with multi-agent system administration and modern secrets management.
• Proficient with AI-native development tools and code assist.
• Familiar with Python, Bash, TS, Go, Rust, Java.
• Understanding of AI-native design processes and cryptographic identity/auth.
• Experience with IDEs, CI/CD, Git hosting.
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE, AWS and Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design control harness intelligence systems for multiagent setups and tooling.
• Architect agent identity and authentication for large-scale systems.
• Design post-training and tuning environments for agents.
• Develop synthesis models for AI open-source models.
• Implement and benchmark architectures against evals.
• Create comprehensive AI Agent control frameworks.
• Lead design through AI-native processes and stakeholder alignment.
• Research emerging agent authorization architectures and frontier models.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data, and Infra experts for balanced outcomes.
• Support business development and IP activities; present at conferences.
• Hands-on development of advanced AI capabilities in agentic control.
• Lead a team of experts to build universal agentic control harnesses.

Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics
