Job summary

Renesas Electronics Americas invites a Senior Staff Application Technology Architect to define AI/ML technologies for embedded and edge computing across multiple segments. You will bridge algorithms, sensor analytics, edge platforms, and semiconductor tech to deliver differentiated AI-enabled solutions.

Lead architecture, roadmap, and reusable AI frameworks; collaborate with product teams, researchers, and customers; mentor engineering teams and influence product strategy to accelerate edge

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or Engineering fields.
• 10+ years AI/ML, analytics, signal processing, or embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Define AI/ML architectures for embedded and edge systems.
• Translate customer needs into AI solution roadmaps.
• Develop reusable AI frameworks and deployment pipelines.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of ML/DL, foundation-models, agentic-AI.
• Define architectures for sensor intelligence, signal processing, CV, anomalies.
• Drive HW/SW partitioning across MCUs/MPUs/NPUs/AI accelerators.
• Monitor AI advances and collaborate with teams.
