Job summary

Capital One Shopping is seeking a Senior Product Manager with deep data platform experience to own the agentic analytics platform. This remote-eligible role emphasizes building AI-enabled analytics for shopping, prototype PoCs using AI tools, and partnering across platform teams.

You will define data definitions, govern metrics, and set boundaries for AI agents while driving prioritization with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Product Management, Solutions or Deployment Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Data Analytics experience.
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, CS, CE, SWE, ME, IS or related) or Business/Marketing.
• OR Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 4 years of Product Management, Solutions or Deployment Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Data Analytics experience.
• 7+ years of Product Management, Solutions or Deployment Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Data Analytics experience, including ownership of an internal platform or production deployment.
• 4+ years of experience working directly in data, with SQL proficiency.
• Experience defining and governing metrics across teams that did not agree.
• Experience with semantic layers, metrics layers, or ontologies (dbt, LookML, Cube, Palantir Foundry, or comparable)

Responsibilities

• Partner with platform engineers to build and operate AI products that teams across Shopping depend on, starting with an agentic analytics platform.
• Understand the enterprise data requirements and ensure the system’s compliance with enterprise patterns.
• Define what a system needs to know to be trusted (the data, the definitions, the context behind both).
• Set the boundaries for what agents can and can’t do, and prove those boundaries hold in practice.
• Relentlessly push to understand user and stakeholder needs and ensure they are considered in prioritization and trade‑off discussions.
• Make each successive deployment cheaper and faster than the last.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders that depend on the capabilities and performance of our platforms.
• Define, socialize, and monitor key performance indicators to understand the evolution and success of the project.
