Job summary

Hims & Hers seeks a Staff Analyst, AI to act as a strategic analytics partner for AI product teams. You will own experimentation, measure impact, and translate business questions into robust metrics across diverse data sources.

Collaborating with ML, product, care ops, and finance, you will shape measurement strategy, ensure data quality, and deliver scalable insights that influence roadmap and investment decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of analytics, data science, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests, ideally AI/ML-driven.
• Experience with subscription-based business models and retention metrics.
• Expert SQL skills (BigQuery preferred) and advanced Looker/Tableau experience.
• Ability to explain technical analyses clearly to non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
• Extensive experience working with data engineering and analytics engineering teams, including dbt-modeled pipelines.
• Experience evaluating conversational AI or LLM-based products and translating signals into metrics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic analytics partner to AI product teams.
• Measure product performance and quantify commercial/clinical impact.
• Own experimentation strategy for AI product launches and iterations.
• Define and own metrics frameworks from pre-launch instrumentation to post-launch readouts.
• Partner with ML/Applied AI teams to evaluate model performance and translate signals into business metrics.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, Analytics, and Data Engineering to define tracking requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Develop scalable analytical solutions using Python or R alongside SQL.
• Design Looker dashboards to democratize AI product metrics across teams.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to inform roadmap and identify opportunity areas.
