Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a technically oriented Software Engineer to join the Global Data Insight & Analytics team. You will design, build, and deploy cloud-based analytics solutions, embedding Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic workflows to solve complex industrial data challenges.

You will collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, from design to deployment and optimization, using modern DevOps practices and secure architectures.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, information technology or a technology related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
• 3+ years of experience with backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Spring Boot).
• 2+ years of experience with Python (AI/Data) or Java.
• Exposure to or hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI/Anthropic/Vertex AI) or open-source models.

Responsibilities

• AI & Agentic Solution Development: Architect, build, and deploy LLM-powered applications and multi-agent systems.
• AI-Assisted Software Engineering: Use generative AI tools to streamline development and CI/CD.
• Product & Requirements Management: Translate business goals into technical requirements in Agile.
• Technical Design & Architecture: Create design docs, architecture diagrams, API specs.
• Modern Operations & DevOps: Build CI/CD pipelines with automated scanning and IAM.
• Reliability & Continuous Improvement: Conduct RCA and ensure high availability.
