Job summary
Ford Motor Company is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join the Industrial Systems Analytics team. You will design, build, and deploy AI-powered analytics applications leveraging LLMs, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent systems.
You will champion AI tooling, automate testing, and advance CI/CD practices within an Agile environment. The role emphasizes collaboration with product and design teams to translate goals into scalable, secure data solutions, with a strong focus on reliability
Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field.
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
- 3+ years experience with backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Spring Boot).
- 2+ years experience with Python or Java.
- Exposure to integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex AI) or open-source models.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and deploy AI-powered analytics applications.
- Champion generative AI tools to streamline software development and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into technical requirements.
- Create design documents, architectures, and API specifications for scalable systems.
- Build CI/CD pipelines with security and IAM automation.
