Job summary

Cresta in the United Kingdom is seeking an AI Agent Engineer to deploy and optimize intelligent agents that solve real-world customer problems. You’ll collaborate with customers and our software and ML engineers to deliver high-impact AI Agent deployments and continuously improve our platform.

You’ll develop agents, integrate with external systems, and provide guidance on architecture, security, and scalability while staying cost-effective and reliable in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of full-time software development/AI/ML engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Golang; strong coding skills.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks, function calling, and RAG.
• Cloud platforms and DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers, monitoring).
• APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, deploy, and optimize AI agents using Cresta’s platform.
• Build integrations with external systems (APIs, databases, CRMs).
• Fine-tune prompts and configurations for performance in enterprise environments.
• Gather requirements from customers and translate them into AI solutions.
• Lead demos, proofs-of-concept, and iterative refinements for customer objectives.
