Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead the technical relationship for a portfolio of AI labs within the AI Accounts team. You will own the customer engagement from discovery to production, partnering with field teams to demonstrate value and scale deployments.

You will operate in a fast-paced, engineering-led environment, collaborate across product and engineering, travel for onsite engagements, and shape how Datadog shows up for this cohort.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Sales Engineering or similar customer-facing role.
• Hands-on depth in AI/ML infrastructure stack and observability.
• Strong foundation in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes.
• Comfortable in flat organizations and fast growth environments.
• Willing to travel for multi-day onsite engagements and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship across a portfolio of AI labs and lead production-scale engagements.
• Partner with AE to drive expansion and identify new workloads within accounts.
• Lead discovery in engineering-led organizations and run POVs in production environments.
• Act as an extension of the customer’s engineering team and provide near-real-time signal.
