Job summary

Datadog is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for its AI Accounts team to own the technical relationship with a select portfolio of AI labs. You will work closely with customer engineers in production, shaping how we present our platform to a cohort that spends a meaningful share of revenue on AI workloads.

You will lead discovery, run full-scale POVs in production, and partner with the AE to drive expansion. Travel to onsite engagements will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Sales Engineering or similar customer-facing tech roles.
• Hands-on depth in AI/ML infra and observability practices.
• Strong cloud and Kubernetes experience, with production-scale mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own technical relationships with a portfolio of AI labs and their engineers.
• Lead production-grade POVs and instrument real workloads at scale.
• Collaborate with AE to drive expansion and identify new workloads.
• Provide guidance on observability and instrument dashboards for customers.
• Coach peers and align product/engineering with customer needs.
