Job summary

CHS Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Agronomy Sales Representative for St. Charles to engage farmers, ranchers, and producers with CHS crop protection, nutrients, seed and services. You will deliver on-farm sales presentations and build lasting relationships to drive local growth.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in sales or related roles, strong math skills, and a track record of customer-focused, autonomous work. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or GED.
• 4+ years of sales, business development, business operations or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in agriculture, business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with suppliers to assist, advise, and develop supply economics and strategies in region.
• Forecast supply requirements by month and annual basis.
• Manage P&L for an assigned territory.
• Increase sales and margins by prospecting new customers and executing sales programs.
• Facilitate long-term relationships with suppliers and customers to create repeat business.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals for successful transactions.
