Job summary

CHS Dakota Agronomy Partners in Bowbells, ND is seeking a motivated Agronomy Sales Representative to engage directly with farmers, ranchers and producers. You will showcase crop protection, nutrients, seed products and other services, delivering on-farm sales presentations that drive local success.

The role emphasizes proactive sales, strong math aptitude, consultative service, and the ability to lead projects while maintaining safety and compliance with CHS policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of Sales, Business Development, and/or Sales Operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Agriculture, Business, Communications, Marketing or related field.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Pre-employment screening may be required per job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales plans to achieve goals and increase profitability through sales, marketing and consulting processes.
• Evaluate customer programs and develop plans to meet complex business needs while growing the business.
• Collaborate with teams to heighten visibility and impact of sales calls and improve efficiency.
• Foster long-term relationships with suppliers and customers for repeat business.
• Provide consultative services by combining relationships with product, marketing and technical skills.
• Prepare sales presentations, contracts, bids and proposals for successful transactions.
• Train staff and customers; handle inquiries professionally.
• Lead sales projects and mentor less experienced staff.
• Develop knowledge of multiple products and apply it across duties.
