Job summary

CHS Inc. in McVille, North Dakota is seeking an Agronomy Sales Representative to engage farmers, ranchers and producers with CHS crop protection, nutrients, seed products and related services. You will deliver on-farm sales presentations and drive local growth.

The role requires a proactive sales mindset, strong math skills, and the ability to lead sales initiatives while maintaining safety standards and professional customer relations. ND-based field position with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or GED required.
• At least 2+ years of sales, business development, business operations or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business or related field preferred (additional).
• Outside sales experience including presentations, negotiations and customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales plans to meet goals and profitability for products and services.
• Develop sales and marketing plans to meet complex business needs and grow the business.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, distribution, operations and credit to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Provide consultative services, manage relationships, and pursue long-term repeat business.
• Prepare presentations, contracts, bids and proposals; train staff and customers.
