Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Account Executive Officer, Agribusiness, to partner with agents and brokers and provide coverage for new and renewal business based on customers' needs. This role is strategic, risk-based, and requires building relationships to drive profitability.

The position is offered as a work-from-home opportunity for candidates not local to a Travelers office in the Midwest or Great Lakes Territory, with travel required to in-person meetings and to cover the assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Six to eight years of underwriting experience in commercial lines.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lines products and regulatory environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Develop and execute agency sales plans; partner with MD for regional plans.
• Travel to meet agents/brokers to market and sell Travelers products.
