Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee design, development, and delivery of IT projects for a federal entity. You will lead Agile initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and produce progress reports while managing risks and budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, formal PM credentials, and extensive experience delivering IT systems in cloud/on-premise environments. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in project management and IT projects.
• Leadership role in at least 3 on-time, on-budget projects.
• Experience with API design, RESTful APIs, cloud/on-premise environments.
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL, algorithm design and complexity.
• 5+ years leading an Agile scrum team with DevOps.
• Experience with public agency interfaces and health/human services domains.
• Master’s or PM certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and schedule with regular value delivery.
• Organize and lead status meetings and reporting.
• Manage risks, issues, and delivery planning.
• Develop and monitor continuous improvement initiatives for Agile.
• Lead team decisions on system implementation and maintenance.
• Create and update testing/training documentation, project processes.
• Provide technical analysis reports to support agency discussions.
