Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an IT Project Manager to design, develop, and oversee IT programs within a large federal entity. You will help create project plans, assess resources, and implement management plans for ongoing initiatives.

The role requires strong Agile expertise, leading teams and acting as the primary liaison for project information. CGS emphasizes growth, collaboration, and a supportive environment with professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, CS, Business, IS or related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in project management.
• Experience leading IT projects with on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Experience with JavaScript/Java programming.
• Knowledge of API management and RESTful APIs in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Experience managing Agile scrum teams (developers, testers, DevOps).
• Familiarity with health and human services domains preferred.
• PM certification or Master’s degree preferred.

• Lead project status and working meetings.
• Prepare and distribute progress reports.
• Manage risks and plan deliveries.
• Develop initiatives for process improvements and monitoring.
