Job summary

ZipStaff is seeking an experienced Scrum Lead / Agile Delivery Lead to drive Agile delivery across cross-functional technology teams for a global technology services firm. This role requires someone who can actively drive execution, identify risks early, and maintain focus on measurable delivery and business outcomes.

Responsibilities include leading all ceremonies, owning sprint execution, managing DoR/DoD, improving predictability, and collaborating with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of technology/software delivery experience.
• 5+ years as a Scrum Master, Scrum Lead, or Agile Delivery Lead.
• Strong expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Lean delivery practices.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional technology teams.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or comparable Agile lifecycle tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Own sprint execution and drive predictable delivery outcomes.
• Challenge estimates, scope, dependencies, assumptions, and delivery timelines.
• Identify delivery risks and impediments early and drive them to closure.
• Maintain strong Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) practices.
• Improve sprint predictability and minimize spillovers.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and prioritized backlog.
• Work across multidisciplinary teams involving product, engineering, QA, data, and business SMEs.
• Manage cross-team dependencies and competing priorities.
• Use Agile metrics including velocity, throughput, sprint predictability, spillover, and defects to identify improvement opportunities.
• Coach teams on Agile and Lean principles while maintaining a strong focus on practical delivery outcomes.
