Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Agile Coach with a Washington, DC-based client to join their team onsite in Washington, DC. The Senior Agile Coach will assess team maturity, tailor coaching plans, and guide teams to improve Agile practices while collaborating with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Program Managers.

Experience with Jira and government or regulated environments is preferred; strong change management skills are essential.

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on experience coaching Agile teams across complex organizations.
Certification such as ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Coaching, Certified Scrum Professional, SAFe Practice Consultant, or equivalent.
Proven ability to assess team capabilities and drive improvements in Agile maturity.
Experience navigating resistance and adapting coaching approaches.
Experience with organizational playbooks and frameworks; government or regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess team maturity and create tailored coaching plans.
Guide teams to improve Agile practices and capabilities from any starting point.
Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Program Managers to ensure value delivery.
Follow the Agile Program Manager guidance and playbook.
