Job summary

Nexiva Inc. is seeking a Senior Agile Coach to work onsite in Washington DC. This long-term contract role requires leading agile transformations, coaching teams across maturity levels, and delivering measurable improvements in performance.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of coaching experience, relevant certifications, and proficiency with Jira within government or regulated environments. You will partner with program leaders to tailor coaching plans, facilitate Scrum/Scrumban ceremonies, and

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on coaching Agile teams across various maturity levels in complex organizations.
Certifications such as ICAgile ICP-AC, Certified Scrum Professional, SAFe SPC or equivalent are required.
Proven ability to assess team capabilities and drive improvements in Agile maturity.
Demonstrated ability to navigate organizational resistance and adapt coaching approaches.
Experience with government or highly regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess team maturity and create tailored coaching plans, guiding teams through progressive capability building.
Coach Scrum/Scrumban/Kanban events, artifacts, and roles with focus on genuine Agile value.
Lead change management to address resistance and cultural barriers to transformation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to embed continuous improvement and industry best practices.
