Job summary

MBO Partners is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to translate complex business needs into clear requirements within an Agile framework. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to map current processes, define future-state solutions, and coordinate testing and delivery across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of business analysis experience.
• Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and analyzing business processes.
• Experience working across multiple business areas, teams, or domains.
• Strong experience writing user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting business testing, test planning, and solution validation.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum environments.
• Ability to assess current-state processes, identify gaps, and recommend practical future-state solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-support skills.
• Experience identifying and managing risks, dependencies, and barriers through delivery.
• Experience with tools and concepts such as JIRA, process mapping, SQL, Power BI, Adobe Analytics, or related business analysis tools is a plus.
• Relevant certifications in business analysis or Agile methodologies are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of a specific business area or domain and build a broad understanding of related business processes.
• Analyze current-state processes across multiple business areas and identify gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Define future-state solutions that align with business priorities and desired outcomes.
• Lead requirements-gathering efforts for medium to large initiatives across multiple teams or domains.
• Translate business needs into clear, detailed requirements, user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.
• Support cross-functional Agile teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Coordinate and support business testing activities, including test planning, execution, and stakeholder sign-off.
• Confirm that delivered solutions align with documented business requirements and intended outcomes.
• Communicate business insights, priorities, and decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify risks, barriers, and dependencies and help drive work through completion.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to other Business Analysts as needed.
• Serve as a trusted partner to business and technology teams throughout analysis, delivery, and implementation efforts.
