Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Agentic Workflow Engineer to help build agentic AI workflows for biologics discovery data engine. You will design and maintain agentic workflows, orchestrate data pipelines, and integrate automation software, data stores, models, and compute with the AI/ML teams to accelerate discovery and

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related computational field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience building scientific workflow orchestration or automation software.
• Experience applying agentic AI to scientific or laboratory workflows.
• Experience with enterprise GenAI platforms and retrieval-augmented approaches.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Build and continuously improve agentic workflows for biologics discovery assays.
• Develop real-time pipelines connecting automation software, data stores, models, and compute.
• Collaborate with IT and platform teams to implement APIs, observability, and orchestration.
• Partner with GenAI teams to extend platforms for biology discovery.
• Ensure data quality, provenance, and production deployment of workflows.
