Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Senior Agentic Workflow Engineer to build and maintain agentic workflows and orchestration for biologics discovery data analysis and secondary processing logic.

You will design real-time data pipelines, connect automation software, data stores, models, and compute, and collaborate with IT, MLOps, and ontology teams to ensure AI-ready outputs and reproducibility.

Qualifications

• Master’s/Ph.D. in CS/Engineering or related field, or Bachelor’s with substantial experience.
• 2+ years building scientific workflow orchestration and agentic workflows.
• Real-time/near-real-time data pipeline design with heterogeneous outputs.
• Experience applying agentic AI and LLM-based agents to scientific workflows.
• Experience with GenAI platforms and retrieval-augmented approaches (RAG/GraphRAG).
• Strong communication and ability to operate in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Build and continuously improve agentic workflows to automate secondary analysis.
• Develop and maintain real-time pipelines connecting automation software, data stores, models, and compute.
• Partner with IT to implement resilient APIs, observability, versioning, and orchestration end-to-end.
• Extend GenAI platforms and agentic frameworks for biologics discovery.
• Collaborate with ontology and MLOps teams for semantic, production-ready data.
• Contribute to AI-driven learning and closed-loop feedback in the DMTL cycle.
• Ensure outputs are high-quality, traceable, interoperable, AI-ready.
