Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience building scientific workflow orchestration and automation software.
- Hands-on experience designing real-time data pipelines and integrating heterogeneous data outputs.
- Experience applying agentic AI and modern LLM-based agents to scientific workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design and build agentic workflows and orchestration for scientific data analysis and secondary processing.
- Translate scientific priorities into automation and AI roadmaps; build real-time pipelines connecting software, data stores, models, and compute.
- Collaborate with Discovery, Data Science, ISD, GenAI, and lab-automation teams to enable closed-loop feedback across the DMTL cycle.
- Set technical direction and mentor engineers and data scientists across the AI/ML space.
