Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Lead Agentic AI Offensive Security Engineer to design and support AI-enabled security platforms. You will architect scalable agentic systems, lead cross-functional architecture decisions, and mentor engineers in a hybrid work setting.

You will implement model-agnostic interfaces, manage memory and tool calls, and ensure strong security, reliability, and observability for production-grade AI workflows.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software, platform, distributed-systems, or AI engineering.
• Proven experience architecting and operating production LLM-powered or agentic systems.
• Hands-on experience with agent orchestration, planning, tool calling, memory, and long-running workflows.
• Experience with foundation-model APIs and open-weight or self-hosted models, function calling.
• Security-focused, with production reliability and AI safety expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own the reference architecture and engineering standards for production agentic AI systems.
• Design reusable agent execution harnesses separating AI reasoning from execution.
• Lead multi-agent workflows, state management, memory, tool calling, and long-running processes.
• Define model-agnostic interfaces for various model sources and workloads.
• Architect retrieval, context, and memory services using RAG, hybrid search, and vector databases.
• Establish MCP servers, APIs, tool registries, and enterprise integrations.
• Define evaluation, observability, reliability, and security practices, including least privilege and sandboxing.
