Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Lead Agentic AI Engineer to design, enhance and support the technical direction of our AI-Enabled Offensive security organization. You will architect and deliver secure, production-grade agentic AI platforms to accelerate cybersecurity triage, investigation, detection engineering, response, and complex workflows.

The role requires deep expertise in agentic systems, architecture, and production reliability, with hands-on experience in LangGraph, Claude

Qualifications

10+ years of software, platform, distributed-systems, or AI engineering leadership.
Deep expertise in agentic systems, orchestration, and memory management.
Experience with production LLM-powered or agentic systems across full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Own reference architecture and engineering standards for production agentic AI systems.
Design reusable agent execution harnesses separating AI reasoning from deterministic execution.
Lead multi-agent workflows, memory, tool calling, and long-running processes.
Define model-agnostic interfaces for various model types, including routing and workload-based selection.
Architect retrieval, context, and memory services using RAG, hybrid search, and vector databases.
Establish MCP servers, API design, tool registries, and enterprise integrations.
Define security, observability, and reliability practices including guardrails and data leakage defenses.
Lead cross-functional architecture decisions and mentor engineers.
