Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) in Crystal City, VA is seeking a Principal Agentic AI Full Stack Software Engineer to design and deploy critical components of our AI analytics stack. You will build analytic frontends, production APIs, and interfaces between AI workflow components.

You will translate AI/ML concepts into reliable, user-focused software, delivering scalable solutions that support mission outcomes within a secure government contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python with focus on AI-enabled apps.
• Experience with Streamlit or React dashboards.
• Strong API design and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Develop clean, efficient Python code for AI-enabled apps.
• Lead design/implementation of AI-enabled web apps and analytics.
• Build and maintain APIs (FastAPI) for seamless communication.
• Create and maintain UI for complex AI/data analytics features.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based deployments.
