American Express’ Enterprise Technology Services seeks a Senior Agentic AI Engineer II to lead the development of advanced AI and NLP capabilities. You will translate business requirements into scalable ML models and strengthen Big Data pipelines while ensuring compliance and supporting team growth.

Responsibilities include leading AI/ML framework creation, translating needs into scalable models, optimizing data pipelines, and mentoring the team to deliver robust technical solutions in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science or comparable experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Python and data processing technologies including Hadoop and Spark.
• NLP techniques and models including BERT and Transformer models with real-world applications.
• Deep expertise in ML including model selection, evaluation, and optimization.
• Expert-level understanding of AI architectures, LLMs, agentic workflows, and scalable orchestration.
• Experience deploying AI models and pipelines with MLOps tools and CI/CD.
