Qualifications

• NLP techniques and models including BERT and Transformer models with real-world applications.
• Deep expertise in ML including model selection, evaluation, and optimization.
• Expert-level understanding of AI architectures, LLMs, agentic workflows, and scalable orchestration.
• Experience deploying AI models and pipelines with MLOps tools and CI/CD.

This role focuses on turning business requirements into scalable machine learning models, strengthening Big Data pipelines, and maintaining compliance while supporting team growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of advanced AI and machine learning frameworks alongside innovative natural language processing models.
• Translate complex business needs into scalable modeling approaches.
• Optimize Big Data pipelines to support production-grade performance.
• Ensure compliance throughout model and pipeline development.
• Foster individual growth across the team while delivering technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, and/or comparable experience.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Python and data processing technologies including Big Data tools such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Knowledge of natural language processing techniques such as fuzzy wuzzy and models including BERT and Transformer models, including real-world applications.
• Deep expertise in machine learning, including tradeoffs in model selection, evaluation, and optimization.
• Expert-level understanding of modern AI architectures, including LLM systems, agentic workflows, retrieval strategies, and scalable orchestration patterns.
• Experience in software development with a focus on machine learning, generative AI, Big Data, and prompt engineering.
• Experience working with large language models (LLMs), including GPT-3.5/4 or similar models.
• Experience in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or C++.
• Experience deploying AI models and pipelines using machine learning operations tools.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment and containerized deployments.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, including extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes.
• Extensive experience architecting and deploying large-scale AI systems in production environments.
• Experience leading development of distributed AI platforms, real-time inference systems, and cloud-native AI services.
• Advanced expertise in a technical domain with moderate expertise across additional domains.
