Job summary

BMC Software, Inc. is seeking a senior engineer to design and deploy agentic AI solutions for real customer environments. You will blend hands-on software development with domain understanding to turn product capabilities into practical, valued outcomes.

You'll collaborate with customers across regions, own end-to-end integrations, and help shape deployment standards while traveling as needed. Strong Python and OpenShift experience are a plus; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Typically 8–13 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Familiar with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Strong communication and travel readiness.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and customize agentic AI in customer environments.
• Own features and integrations end-to-end.
• Build integrations with customer systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Support proofs-of-concept and pilots; resolve blockers and inform stakeholders.
• Travel as required and collaborate across regions.
