Job summary

BMC Software, Inc. is hiring to deploy and customize its agentic AI in customer environments, ranging from on-premises to cloud platforms. You will own features end-to-end, build integrations with customer systems, and support pilots while guiding customers through adoption with human-in-the-loop.

The role requires strong Python skills, enterprise integration experience, and hands-on cloud/container orchestration. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 8-13 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Python and software engineering fundamentals; knowledge of LLM/RAG/agents/prompt engineering.
• Experience with enterprise systems/API integration and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Containers/orchestration experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift; CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and customize agentic AI in customer environments (on‑prem, hyperscaler, or OpenShift).
• Take ownership of features and integrations end-to-end in evolving requirements.
• Build integrations with customer systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Support proofs-of-concept and pilots end-to-end; resolve blockers; inform stakeholders.
• Travel across regions/time zones as required.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor on agentic‑AI adoption with human-in-the-loop.
• Bring field learnings back to product and engineering based on real usage.
• Contribute pragmatic engineering standards – CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Define repeatable deployment, integration, and value-realization patterns across customers.
• Lead complex/strategic accounts technically; identify and prioritize product gaps.
• Coach and raise the bar for acceleration engineering practices.
• Align Product, Engineering, Security, and Customer teams on shared field standards.
