Job summary

Verizon is seeking a senior AI architect to lead the technical vision and execution of agentic AI/ML systems. You will shape customer experiences by building autonomous agents powering digital channels, sales, and customer success.

You will translate strategy into scalable, secure production systems with cross-functional leadership. You will drive strategy around LLMs, agentic architectures, and cloud-native pipelines, collaborating with security and legal teams to ensure privacy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant experience required.
• Three or more years of experience designing, building, and deploying production AI/ML systems at scale.
• Experience with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile).
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field a plus.

• Translate long-term strategy into robust, scalable production systems with cross-functional leadership.

• Collaborate with Security, Legal, and Architecture teams to ensure data privacy and compliance.
• Mentor engineers and establish engineering best practices.
