Harry Walker Agency (HWA) seeks an Agent to develop and nurture relationships with a diverse roster of high-profile speakers, working closely with managers, internal teams, and fellow agents. This is a relationship-driven role that combines talent representation, business development, strategic thinking, and execution.

The ideal candidate is curious, highly knowledgeable about the industry, with strong judgment and the ability to navigate demanding personalities and shifting priorities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience; approximately 3 years for candidates with industry experience and approximately 5 years for candidates transitioning from another industry.
• Strong industry knowledge or a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Keep CRM database, speaker records, and communications updated.
• Tracking deals, referrals, and outreach.
• Prepare and negotiate formal offers for speaking engagements, working closely with sales and BA teams.
• Aid in researching and signing new speaker talent that strengthens and expands HWA’s roster.
• Collaborate with WME and its broader network of departments to identify opportunities for integrated, 360-degree representation.
• Partner with Marketing and other internal teams on speaker positioning, visibility, and strategic growth.

The Role and What You’ll Do:

As an Agent on HWA’s Speaker Representation team, you will develop and nurture relationships with a diverse roster of high-profile speakers while partnering closely with managers, internal teams, and fellow agents. This is a relationship-driven role that combines talent representation, business development, strategic thinking, and exceptional execution. You will also work closely with HWA President Don Walker, providing high-level support across talent, client, and business priorities. The ideal candidate is curious, highly knowledgeable about the industry, and able to see the bigger picture. They have strong instincts and sound judgment, and are resilient and steady under pressure, able to navigate demanding personalities, difficult conversations, and shifting priorities.

Administrative work:

• Keep CRM database, speaker records, and communications updated

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Rate Minimum: $61,875 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)

Hiring Rate Maximum: $82,500 annually
