You will assess strengths and weaknesses, help agents achieve profitable growth in volume and policy count, and ensure familiarity with Selective's initiatives, products, and services.

The role requires a college degree, 6+ years in underwriting or field underwriting, and proven communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred with underwriting or field experience.
• Agency management and rating experience is preferred.
• Proven track record in meeting business goals.

Responsabilités

• Develop a profitable agency force familiar with Selective's initiatives, products, policies, procedures and services.
• Make consistent underwriting decisions; adhere to pricing philosophies; promote ease of doing business with Selective.
• Monitor agency results and follow up on growth, profitability, share of wallet and compliance.
