Trellis Management Co. is seeking a self-motivated Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of Affordable Housing & Project Based Section 8/42 properties in the Twin Cities metro area.

You will supervise property staff, ensure program compliance and optimize occupancy and financial performance. The role requires experience with housing programs, strong leadership and budget management, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with Affordable Housing programs including Project Based Section 8/42 and Tax Credit.
• Proven track record of coordinating with service providers and managing sites.
• Highly organized, detail oriented, accountable and dependable.
• Knowledge of day-to-day building operations and ability to oversee multiple properties.
• Proficient with Yardi, RentCafe and Microsoft Office platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong customer service skills.
• Minimum 3 years property/regional management experience.
• Valid driver's license, dependable vehicle and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Promote good resident relations and oversee site management staff.
• Lead and supervise teams across multiple properties.
• Monitor physical appearance and property standards.
• Market and maintain maximum occupancy across properties.
• Review monthly financial statements and maintain financial stability.
• Prepare annual budgets and perform staff annual reviews.
• Ensure compliance and reporting for programs managed.
