Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Business, or related field; five+ years in affordable, mixed-income, and market-rate multifamily real estate development.
• LIHTC certification or other real estate finance/development certifications preferred.
• Experience with evaluating real estate acquisitions, financing, and closing processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist VP/AVPs in evaluating potential real estate acquisitions and rehabilitation projects.
• Assist in securing LIHTC financing and other gap financing from OHFA and other agencies.
• Assist in securing public and private financing for housing developments and rehab projects.
• Assist in securing construction, permanent, and other financing from banks and institutions.
• Assist in the closing process for financing sources.
• Collaborate with CMHA teams to achieve Planning & Development goals.
• Attend public meetings related to project approvals.
• Track development projects post-financing using PM tools and dashboards.
• Evaluate programs and activities to measure CMHA goals in line with LIHTC requirements.
