The Senior Development Manager plays a critical role in the identification, planning, and execution of multifamily housing developments. This position is responsible for sourcing and evaluating new development opportunities, leading project feasibility and due diligence efforts, securing entitlements and approvals, and overseeing projects from concept through stabilization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily real estate development, including market analysis, site acquisition, financial underwriting, project financing, and construction oversight.
Working closely with investors, design and construction partners, consultants, lenders, municipalities, housing authorities, the Senior Development Manager drives projects forward while balancing financial performance, community impact, and project timelines. Experience with affordable housing, workforce housing, mixed-income developments, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs is highly valued but not required.
This role requires a strategic, relationship-focused leader who can navigate complex development processes, build partnerships, and successfully manage multiple projects in various stages of the development lifecycle. The successful candidate will be passionate about creating high-quality housing communities that meet market needs and enhance the neighborhoods they serve.
