Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Dedicated Affordable Assurance Manager to lead compliance for assigned client portfolios and drive high-quality affordable housing operations. You will monitor LIHTC, HUD, HOME, and related programs, analyze risk, coordinate corrective actions, and partner with operations and asset management to ensure regulatory readiness and strong client relationships.

This role requires 5+ years in affordable housing compliance and willingness to travel up

Qualifications

• 5+ years of affordable housing compliance, audit, risk management or portfolio oversight.
• Experience with LIHTC, HUD, HOME, Bond, HCV/PBRA, Rural Development programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to assigned communities, client meetings, audits.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary compliance assurance contact for assigned client portfolios and leadership.
• Monitor portfolio compliance across LIHTC, HUD, HOME, Bond, Rural Development and related programs.
• Identify compliance trends, deficiencies, gaps, and regulatory risks.
• Coordinate internal resources to support audit readiness and corrective action completion.
• Provide regulatory guidance to Operations, Compliance Directors, Managers, and site teams.
• Escalate significant concerns and recommend solutions to leadership.
• Maintain client relationship management and ongoing communication on portfolio status.
