Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) seeks a Dedicated Affordable Assurance Manager to lead Compliance for assigned portfolios. You will monitor LIHTC, HUD, HOME and related programs, oversee audit readiness, and drive corrective actions with Operations and Asset Management teams.

This full-time role requires 5+ years in affordable housing compliance, strong regulatory knowledge, and ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of affordable housing compliance, audit, risk management, portfolio oversight, or related property management compliance experience
• Experience with LIHTC, HUD, HOME, Bond, HCV/PBRA, Rural Development, and layered affordable housing programs preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated compliance assurance contact for assigned client portfolios and leadership.
• Monitor portfolio compliance performance across affordable housing programs and ensure audit readiness.
• Identify compliance trends, deficiencies, and operational gaps, and coordinate corrective action with internal teams.
• Provide regulatory guidance to Operations, Compliance Directors, site teams, and client stakeholders.
• Escalate significant compliance concerns and communicate with leadership on risk and solutions.
