Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Dedicated Affordable Assurance Manager to lead compliance for client portfolios. You will monitor performance across LIHTC, HUD, HOME, and other programs, identify risks, and coordinate corrective action with operations and leadership.

As the dedicated compliance liaison, you will guide audit readiness, provide regulatory guidance, and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of affordable housing compliance, audit, risk management, or related field.
• Experience with LIHTC, HUD, HOME, Bond, HCV/PBRA, Rural Development programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to client sites and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary compliance assurance contact for assigned client portfolios.
• Monitor portfolio compliance across LIHTC, HUD, HOME, and other programs.
• Identify risks, gaps, and regulatory issues; coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare executive summaries and client communications.
• Support audit readiness and regulatory reporting.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with Operations, Asset Management and Compliance.
