Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) seeks a Dedicated Affordable Assurance Manager to lead compliance across client portfolios with multifaceted affordable housing programs. You will oversee performance, mitigate regulatory risk, and coordinate readiness for audits, leveraging cross-functional teams to ensure timely corrective actions and consistent portfolio quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of affordable housing compliance, audit, risk management, portfolio oversight, or related property management compliance experience.
• Experience with LIHTC, HUD, HOME, Bond, Rural Development, HCV/PBRA, and layered funding programs is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to assigned communities, client meetings, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary compliance assurance contact for assigned client portfolios and internal leadership.
• Monitor portfolio compliance performance across affordable housing programs and report trends.
• Coordinate internal resources to support audit readiness and corrective actions.
• Provide regulatory guidance to Operations, Compliance Directors, and site teams.
• Escalate significant compliance concerns to leadership with recommended solutions.
• Maintain proactive client relationship management and ongoing communication with asset management partners.
• Analyze audit results and develop corrective action plans.
• Prepare executive-level summaries and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support portfolio needs.
