Job summary

Acxiom is seeking a Principal Affiliate Marketing Program Manager to drive affiliate strategy, partner management, and cross-functional execution for a major U.S. financial institution. Lead onboarding, optimization, and ROI-focused initiatives with Marketing, Product, Analytics, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Technology.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, executive communication, and growth through performance marketing across networks like CJ, Impact, Partnerize, and Rakuten.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in affiliate marketing or related fields.
• Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives from strategy to execution.
• Strong understanding of affiliate ecosystems, networks, and performance models.
• Experience managing external partners and influencing multiple levels.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• PMP/Agile certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of affiliate channel strategies that drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and business objectives.
• Manage relationships with affiliate networks, publishers, agencies, and strategic partners, including onboarding, activation, optimization, and performance reviews.
• Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution, coordinating efforts across departments.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource requirements, risks, and success metrics while ensuring on-time delivery.
• Partner with business and technology teams to identify and implement enhancements to affiliate platforms, tracking, attribution, reporting, and operational processes.
• Monitor channel performance and analyze data to identify growth opportunities, improve partner effectiveness, and optimize ROI.
• Develop executive-ready presentations, business cases, performance reports, and strategic recommendations.
• Ensure affiliate marketing activities comply with regulatory, legal, privacy, brand, and governance requirements.
• Drive issue resolution, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making across multiple teams and external partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve affiliate processes, reporting, governance, and operational efficiency.
