Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer- Antenna Test and Verification to lead RF/Microwave antenna testing and AESA integration. You will guide test development, hardware integration, and validation efforts, solving RF and mechanical issues while collaborating with subsystem teams.

The role requires a STEM degree, 8+ years in antenna testing, and the ability to work with DoD programs. Domestic travel is expected, and competitive benefits are provided in a U.S.-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• 8+ years in Antenna/AESA test and subsystem.
• Experience with far-field/near-field test ranges.
• RF design basics: NF, linearity, S-parameters, gain, directivity.
• Experience with RF test equipment and DoD-relevant security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of test engineers to validate Antenna (AESA) hardware.
• Develop specifications, perform trade studies, integrate hardware, test and verify.
• troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and RF issues to subsystem level.
• Contribute technical, schedule, and cost inputs to management.
