Job summary

Henderson Group Recruiting is seeking an experienced software engineer to maintain and extend an ASR C++ code base for ground station and drone operations in a scientifically rigorous environment.

You will contribute to algorithm development, protocol enhancements, and software architecture while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires strong C++/C, Linux experience, and familiarity with Agile processes, in a demanding, mission-focused setting.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Strong C++ development experience and STL proficiency.
• Front-end web development: HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Back-end development with Python.
• Android development with Java or Kotlin.
• Strong OO design and software engineering practices.
• Linux/POSIX experience including memory management.
• Experience with Agile and aerospace software processes.
• Ability to work independently under pressure.
• BS in CS or related field preferred.
