Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking a software engineer to maintain and extend the ASR C++ code base supporting ground station and drone operations. You will develop new algorithms and enhance the communications protocol while contributing to software architecture and engineering processes.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Strong development experience with C++.
• Front end web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Backend development with Python.
• Android development using Java or Kotlin.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented development methodologies.
• Strong mathematical/physics background with vector operations.
• Expert in C/C++ including STL; strong low-level knowledge.
• Experience with Linux and POSIX libraries; compiler/memory management knowledge.
• Experience with Agile software development processes and aerospace software workflows.
• U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one.
